Obituary

Brooke Anne Capace, born on June 6, 1978, in Michigan, passed away peacefully at the age of 48 on October 1, 2026, in Norfolk, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Brooke was known for her dedication and work ethic, serving as an Asset Protection Team Lead at Walmart for five and a half years. Her commitment to her role was only surpassed by her devotion to her family and friends.

A woman of many talents, Brooke cherished the simple joys of life. She found delight in coloring, arts and crafts, and solving puzzles. Her hands were often busy with crocheting, creating beautiful pieces that brought warmth and comfort to those around her. Brooke's kitchen was a place of gathering, where she expressed her love through cooking and baking, especially her famed pineapple upside-down cheesecake, which became a treasured treat for friends and family alike.

As a devoted mother and military spouse, Brooke's family was at the heart of everything she did. She leaves behind her loving husband of 29 years, Jeffrey Michael "Jeff" Capace, who stood by her side through every moment. Together, they raised three wonderful children: their daughter Gabrielle Capace and sons Dominic Capace and Michael Capace. Brooke's legacy continues through her beloved grandson, Leo Capace, whom she adored deeply.

Brooke is also survived by her sisters, Nicole Lynne Cornwall (Jeremy) and Rachael Jane Isle, her brother, Terren William Isle (Heather), and her father, Daniel "Danny" Roth. Her special friends, Adam and Heather Ennis, her cherished dog companion, Lucy, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, William Kirt Isle, whose memory she cherished dearly.

Brooke's vibrant spirit and enduring love will be celebrated at a memorial service, the details of which will be announced at a later date. The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to The American Cancer Society, in honor of Brooke's brave fight and to support ongoing research and aid for others facing similar battles.

Arrangements are in the care of Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, Va 23434.

Her family, friends, and all who knew her will forever remember Brooke Anne Capace as a source of energy and light, and a beacon of kindness, creativity, and unwavering love.
