Britton Barkley Seebo, Sr., 83, passed away March 1, 2016. He was born in Portsmouth, VA the son of the late Louis H. and Margaret C. Seebo. He was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Emma Evelyn Stamey Seebo; and siblings, Louis Seebo, Jr., Thomas Seebo, Lucille S. Dettmer, Genevieve S. Thompson, Bernard Seebo, and James Seebo. Britton was a veteran having served in the United States Navy. He later went on to work and retire from Norfolk Naval Shipyard as an Engineering Technician. He was a member of the Khedive Shriner's of Chesapeake, VA and a life member of the Mount Horeb Royal Arch Chapter No. 11.

Britton is survived by his sons, Britton B. Seebo, Jr. (Jennifer), Jeffrey P. Seebo (Jacqueline Beth); grandchildren, Joshua, Jeffrey, Brittany, and Elizabeth; sister, Evelyn Rose Seebo Bancroft; and brothers, Richard G. Seebo (Marion Kay), H. Freeman Seebo (Donna).

A graveside service will be held Monday, March 7, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens with Pastor Michael Griffin officiating. Following the service a reception will be held at The First Lady, 447 W. Washington St., Suffolk, VA 23434. A visitation will be held Sunday night from 6-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.
