Brian Keith Whitmore, 50, passed away April 24, 2024.  He was born in Suffolk, VA the son of the late Charles Thomas Whitmore and Diane Warren Whitmore.  Brian graduated in 1992 from Nansemond Suffolk Academy where he played football and baseball both winning State Championships that year.  He worked as a plumber and enjoyed learning every facet of it.  He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Brian is survived by his daughter, Lacey Marie Whitmore; uncle, Robert Whitmore; special cousins, Wendy Dunaway, Lynn Spencer; and numerous other cousins.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church with Dr. Thurman Hayes, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.  Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Tuesday night from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.  Memorial donations may be made to Hope Center Ministries at 1653 Holland Rd., Suffolk, VA 23434.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
