Brian James Ross, Jr., 37, passed away December 15, 2015. He was born in Minot, North Dakota the son of Michelle H. Ross and Brian J. Ross, Sr. He was a United States Navy EOD officer having served multiple tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom where he was awarded two bronze stars. He attended Westminster Reformed Presbyterian Church and was actively involved in the Nansemond Volleyball Club and in Crossfit instructing and training.

Including his parents, Brian is survived by his wife, Robyn C. Ross; children, Annabelle, Brian III, Duncan, and Keegan; and sisters, Danielle Watson, Jennifer Griffin, and Amber Sharp.

A celebration of life service with military honors will be held Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Westminster Reformed Presbyterian Church with Dr. Ruffin Alphin officiating.
