Brenda Anne Lester's Obituary
Brenda Anne Godwin Lester, 58, of Suffolk, VA passed away February 7, 2018. She was born in Norfolk, VA to Gardner Louks and the late Beatrice Louks. Brenda was a former Girl Scout leader. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and painting and placing rocks all over Suffolk.
In addition to her father, Brenda is survived by her husband of 28 years, Robert T. Lester; daughters, Hunter Harrell, Melissa Deuyour, Brittany Lester, Rachel Lester; grandchildren, Miranda Eddins, Bryanna Williford, Jonathan Crocker and Gunner Thomas Jones (on the way); sister, Wanda Sorey; brothers, Thomas Louks and Junior Louks; and several aunts and cousins.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Organization for Autism Research, 2000 N. 14th Street, Suite 240, Arlington, VA 22201.
