Bobby R. Yates, 79, passed away March 14, 2015. He was a native of Stuart , VA, and was the son of the late Frank R. and Nell M. Yates . He retired after 30 years of service from the Texaco Terminal in Chesapeake as a mechanic. He was an avid golfer and fisherman.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carolyne S. Yates; godsons, Shea and Keaton Alvis; and brother-in-law, Daniel H. Hayman.

A Graveside Service with military honors will be held Tuesday , March 17, 2015 at 11a.m. at Albert G. Horton ,Jr. Veterans Memorial Cemetery with Chaplain Dustin Creech officiating.
