Bobby Wayne Buck's Obituary

Bobby Wayne Buck, 75, entered his heavenly home on Saturday, June 22, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Louise Harrell Buck; their children, Christopher Wayne Buck and wife, Sandy, Monica Raine Buck Kirkman and husband, Keith and Kimberly La Shae Buck; grandchildren, Kristin Buck Hinson and husband, TJ, Christopher Julian Buck and Mackenzie Raine Kirkman; great grandson, Declan Ray Hinson; loving sister, Judy Buck Himmelsbach and husband, Robert; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bobby is predeceased by his parents, Edna Powell and William Earl Buck.

Bobby was a member of First Baptist Church, where he was an usher and a member of the Business Men's Sunday School Class. He worked for Norfolk Ford Assembly Plant for 44 years and retired as a quality control auditor. He was also a member of the Bethlehem Ruritan Club for 49 years, where he served as president in 1981.

A special thank you to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital CICU doctors and nurses for the amazing care and compassion they gave our dad.

Bobby's funeral service will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 26, 2019 in First Baptist Church with Dr. Thurman Hayes, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 pm, Tuesday, June 25 in Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the First Baptist Church building fund.
