Bobbie Iona Holland Griggs, 78, passed away October 14, 2018.  She was born in Nansemond Co., VA the daughter of the late Willard Samuel Holland, Sr. and Erma Malene White Holland.  Bobbie was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, James Lemuel Griggs, Sr. and daughter, Lisa Griggs Gray.

Bobbie is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Griggs Wolford; sons, James L. Griggs, Jr., Allan W. Griggs; granddaughters, Allison Griggs, JoAnn Norder; grandson, Joseph Wolford; sisters, Anna H. Lewis (Thomas), Betty H. Mazie (Michael); brother, Willard S. Holland, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends that loved her very much.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434 with Rev. Wayne Gardner officiating.  Burial will follow at Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery, 1421 Kings Fork Rd., Suffolk, VA 23434.  Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Tuesday night from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
