Billy E. Simpkins, 69, passed away January 11, 2017. He was born in Matewan, WV to the late Benton Simpkins and Myrtle Simpkins Damron. Billy was a member of Reynoldson Baptist Church. He was a retired Mechanic at Lipton Tea with over 25 years of service.

Billy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Peggy Goodwin Simpkins; daughters, Terry Jordan (Leroy), Marjorie Wilkins (Mark), Tennie Babb (Troy), Tammy Milteer; grandchildren, Travis, Brittany, Billy (Eryn), Hunter, Jackson; great grandchildren, Alexis, Austin; sisters, Ann Winburn, Toni Shearer; and brother, John Damron.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434 with Troy Babb and Rev. Allen Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery. The family is accepting visitors at the residence.
