Billy Ray Richardson, 82, passed away June 16, 2024.  He was born in Fort Thomas, KY the son of the late William Walker and Hazel Whited Richardson.  Billy was predeceased by his sister, Joy Holtvoight. He retired as an inspector for VDOT and was a US Air Force veteran.  Billy was a member of Mill Swamp Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.

Billy is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carol Dana Richardson; daughter, Lisa R. Smith (Jody); son, Brian K. Richardson (Sarah); step-son, Donald "Ricky" Rickabaugh; grandchildren, Summer Rickabaugh, Gabrielle C. Richardson, Cooper J. Smith; great grandchild, Declan Byrum; sisters, Linda R. Laird (Glen), Rita R. Cameron (Bob); brother, Phil Richardson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, Va 23434 with Pastor Billy  Gardner officiating. Visitation will be held following the service.  Interment will be private and held at a later date at Albert G.
