Billy Ray "Billy Jack" Jackson, Sr., 78, passed away on March 31, 2017. He was born in Smithfield, North Carolina the son of the late Frances G. Jackson Keating. He is also predeceased by his son, Billy Ray Jackson, Jr.; stepson, Butch Taroli; stepdaughter, Jeannie Conyers. He was a retired electrician from Lipton Tea and Billy Jackson Electrical Service.

Billy is survived by his wife of 30 years, Faye E. Jackson; daughter and son in law, Janie J. and David M. Rowe; stepdaughter, Lisa Myers; son, Jody E. Jackson; six grandchildren, Keith Britt, Donnie Bailey, Justin Rowe, Chelsey Rowe, Logan Jackson, and Billy R. Jackson, III; nine great grandchildren; sister, Ann J. Sosnick; brother, Danny Keating; stepfather and wife, Al and Bonnie Keating.
