Billie Sue Shuler Doughty, 68, passed away June 20, 2020.  She was born in Mecklenburg County, NC the daughter of the late Colleen Shuler Bowles.  She was predeceased by her former husband, Richard Doughty, Jr.  Billie retired after 35 years as a sales associate from Belk.

Billie is survived by her daughters, Leigh Ann Rice, Elizabeth Doughty; son, Christopher "Brent" Doughty; and grandchildren, Lauren, Hannah, Taylor, and Josh.

A graveside memorial service will be held Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Newman Cemetery behind Oakland Christian Church with Rev. Tim Rawls officiating.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
