Beverly Louis Elliott, 88, passed away September 20, 2021.  He was raised in Alberta, VA the son of the late Louis Lankston Elliott and Jessie Lee Mulchi Elliott.  He was predeceased by his siblings, Estelle, Madeline, Garland, George, Tommy, and Christine.  Louis was a United States Army veteran having served during the Korean War.  He worked for 34 years for the Portsmouth Police Department and retired as a Lieutenant.

Louis is survived by his wife of 50 years, LaDonna Gail Elliott; son, Kevin Louis Elliott; daughter, Teresa Lynn Harwell; granddaughters, Megan Paige Elliott and Abigail Jewel Elliott; sisters, Pearl Austin and Ruby Waller (James); brother, Sterling Elliott (Janice); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 12:30 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Ernest Trueblood officiating.  Burial with military honors will follow at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.  Friends may join the family for a time of visitation one hour prior to the service from 11:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
