Betty Jean Wells, 82, passed away November 20, 2012. She was born in Suffolk, VA to the late Margaret L. and Edward H. Harris. She is predeceased by her husband, Carl A. Wells. She is survived by her son, William E. Wells; a daughter, Brenda F. Wright; sister, Anne H. White; grandchildren, Heather W. Murphy, Jason Fentress, and Rachel Wright; and great grandchildren, Noah and Will Murphy.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery in Suffolk with Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating. The friends may join the family following the service in the church fellowship hall for further time of fellowship. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
