Betty Louise Stoodley Diggs, 82, passed away March 25, 2012. She was born in Skowhegan, ME the daughter of the late Louise Cross Stoodley and Walter A. Stoodley. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Mason Diggs, Sr.;
sons, David and Walter Diggs; and sister, Patricia A. S. Hayden. Betty retired as a line technician for General Electric.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Sylvia D. Crowder of Suffolk; sons and daughters-in law, Robert M. Diggs, Jr. and Sue of New hill, NC, Bruce A. and Pam Diggs, and Larry Wayne Diggs all of Suffolk, VA; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Martha S. Keene of Skowhegan, ME; and brother, George Stoodley of Carbondale, IL.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Robert H. Carpenter officiating. Friends may join the family Tuesday night from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
