Betty Powell Richards, 84, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. She was born in Gwynn's Island, VA to the late Nellie Hurst and Frank Linwood Powell. She is also predeceased by her loving husband, Thomas Elvin "Buddy" Richards Sr; children, Theresa Norfleet, Thomas E. "Tommy" Richards Jr, and Barry Richards; and sister, Kathleen Hutson. She was a member of Oxford United Methodist Church and Women of the Moose Chapter 1315 at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #141.

Betty's graveside service will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 8, 2020 in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk, VA. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8:00 pm in Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
