Betty Gallagher Oliver, 95, of Suffolk, VA passed away April 3, 2018.  She was born in Huntington, WV to the late Carl Janice and Lola Gallagher Gigliatti. Betty retired as a Claims Representative with the Department of Veterans Affairs Administration.  She was a member of St. Mary's of the Presentation Catholic Church.  Betty is predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Walter "Jack" Jasper Oliver, Jr., sons, Jack D. Oliver, Sr. and Timothy Lee Oliver.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Rose Oliver Hutchison and husband Douglas; son, Christopher Charles Oliver; grandchildren, Alyssa, Kimberly, Brianna, Jack Jr., and Stephen Oliver, Jeffrey and Phillip Hutchison; great grandchildren, Delaney, Jacqueline and Allison Oliver; daughter-in-law, Linda Oliver, special friend, Kathy Pond.

A graveside service will be held, Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Father Emmanuel Mensah officiating. Condolences may be registered at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
