Betty Ann McRae Dragan, 86, passed away on May 15, 2023. She was born in North Carolina to the late Isabel Battle Bloomer McRae and Walter Dixon McRae. She was predeceased by Frank J. Dragan, Jr., her husband of 56 years; her brother Walter "Buddy" McRae; and sister-in-law, Blanche Jastrebsky. She was a longtime resident of the Bowers Hill section of Chesapeake, and retired from NNSY where she worked as an Inventory Control Specialist.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Charlotte D. Przyjemski (Peter) and Rachel D. Eley (Russell); grandchildren, Brittany (Matt), Kayla, Russell IV (Chloe), and William; great grandchildren, Dylan, Madeline, Laney, and Russell V; sister-in-law, Elsie McRae; niece, Karen Shirah; and nephew, Kevin Jastrebsky.

Betty was a kind lady with a joyous heart and a fun and adventurous spirit. She enjoyed painting and other artistic pursuits. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Her graveside service will be 1:00 pm, Friday, May 19, 2023 , at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with The Revered Don Carter officiating.
