Betty Sue Knight Plewes, 76, passed away February 20, 2022.  She was a native of Chuckatuck, Virginia and beloved daughter of Henry Dale and Irene Alice Pinner Knight.  Betty Sue was predeceased by her son Nathan Knight Perry, and stepson, Timothy Leland Plewes.  She was a member of Rivers United Church and worked in the Prison Fellowship Ministry at Indian Creek Correctional Center.  Betty Sue worked as a Hostess at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory for many years after retirement.

Betty Sue is survived by her husband of 36 years, Benjamin "Benny" Arthur Plewes, Jr.; daughter, Charity Kaye Perry; sons, Troy Michael Perry (Leslie), Daren Todd Perry (Donna), stepsons, Steven A Plewes (Jan), Matthew W. Plewes (Julia); twelve grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434 with Pastor John Hunter officiating.  A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Inurnment will be at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rivers United Church and the Prison Fellowship Ministry at Indian Creek Correctional Center.  Condolences may be posted online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
