Bessie Louie Woods, 94, passed away on July 7, 2021.  She was born in Patrick Co., VA the daughter of the late Nannie Verda Lawson Bouldin and Ernest Cecil Bouldin.   She is predeceased by her husband, Bobby Lee Woods; son, Bobby Wayne Woods; grandson, Thomas Ray Woods, Jr.; two brothers and one sister.

Bessie is survived by her daughter, Terry Lynn Carr; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Ray Woods, Sr. and Darlene; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday, July 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, 4569 Shoulders Hill Road, Suffolk, VA 23435 with Rev. Matthew Johnson officiating.
