Bert Dorman Fentress, Sr., 74, passed away August 11, 2021.  He was born in Norfolk, VA the son of the late John Wesley Fentress and Ida Belle Toxey Fentress.  He was predeceased by his siblings, Grace Courtney, John Fentress, Sr., and Ida Calvin.  Bert retired as an Optician and salesman.  He attended Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Bert is survived by his wife, Jenell Holland Fentress; sons, Bert Fentress, Jr. (Despina), Jeremiah Fentress; step-son, Mark Holland (Lauren); grandchildren, Talon Holland, Jacob Fentress, Eleni Fentress, Jaxson Fentress, Constantine Fentress, Garrett Paul, and Codie Paul; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Monday, August 16, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Holly Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Garza officiating.  Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Sunday from 3-4 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.  Memorial donations may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
