Barbara Jamerson Hawley, 75, of Suffolk, VA passed away March 28, 2018. She was born in Church Road, VA to the late Curtis and Iva Pruitte Jamerson. She is also predeceased by her husband of 30 years, Jefferies "J.C." Cutler Hawley and sister, Betty J. Scott. Barbara retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad as Chief Clerk to the Superintendent of the Norfolk Terminal. She was a member of Western Branch Baptist Church.

Barbara is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy J. and Buddy Horn; brother, W. David Jamerson; step-children, Shannon George and Jefferies C. Hawley, Jr.; two nieces; two great nieces; and beloved pet, Rex.

A memorial service will be held Monday, April 2, 2018, at 12:00 p.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr., Memorial Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Tim Rawls officiating.
