Barbara Wilkins Brandon, 57, of Suffolk, VA passed away on December 24, 2009. A native of Suffolk, she was the daughter of the late, Thomas Earle Wilkins. She was also predeceased by her brother, Charles E. Wilkins and her sister, Frances W. Saunders. Barbara was a member of First Baptist Church.

She is survived by; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny A. Goodwin and Mary Katherine Moore Goodwin; a granddaughter, Madison L. Goodwin, all of Suffolk; mother, Edith Boyce Wilkins sister and brothers-in-law, Katherine Ann Powell and W. Rufus Powell, Sr. and Thomas R. Saunders, Sr., and sister-in-law, Savilla Wilkins, all of Suffolk.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, with Rev. Tommy Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Cypress Chapel Christian Church Cemetery. Friends may join the family at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. for visitation.
