Barbara Ann "Bobbie" Culbertson, 76, passed away July 13, 2015. She was born in Nansemond County, VA to the late Joseph Mack and Edith Parker Byrum. Bobbie was also predeceased by her grandson, Matthew B. Cralle. She was a retired medical secretary and transcriptionist for Nephrology Associates of Tidewater.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 57 years, Lawrence "Larry" Edward Culbertson, Sr.; daughter, Sonya Culbertson Gardner; son and daughter-in-law, Lawrence "Larry" Edward Culbertson, Jr. and wife, Karen; grandchildren, Jennifer Cralle Scribner and husband Kevin, Katlyn Culbertson Tillett and husband, Chris and Joseph Culbertson; great grandson, Conner Culbertson; sister, Joyce B. Simpson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph Mack Byrum and Gloria, Wayne Parker Byrum and Linda; nieces, nephew, loving friends, and neighbors.

A visitation will be held Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 3-4 PM at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA, 23434 with a private committal service held at a later date.
