Austin Michael
Robinson
January 14, 1999 – July 28, 2024
Austin Michael Robinson, 25, passed away July 28, 2024. Austin was born in Portsmouth, VA the son of Michael Randolph and Angie Edwards Robinson. He was employed by Nansemond Pre-Cast Concrete Co., Inc. Austin is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Larry C. Edwards and paternal grandparents, James Lee and Mae Amory Robinson.

Austin was the lead Quality Control Manager field coring technician for N.P.C.C. in Suffolk, VA. He started out coring concrete structures on job sites throughout Virginia and loved his work. Dispatch received many compliments about Austin over the years from contractors. He was always eager to learn new things at work. When the opportunity came to learn about concrete testing, Austin was ready to sign up. He was enrolled in many classes offered by VDOT and the American Concrete Institute. He became certified by VDOT and ACI as a concrete field-testing technician and a concrete strength testing technician, working his way up to become the Quality Control Manager. This was a great accomplishment at such a young age.
Austin loved fishing, surfing, music, his dog Kelo and hanging with family and friends. His compassionate and kind heart made those he knew and served feel valuable and cared for.
