Aubrey Ralph Mutter, 92, of Norfolk, VA passed away on June 20, 2011. A native of Akron, OH he was the son of the late Burnice Trent Mutter and Burl Matthew Mutter. He was also predeceased by his wife, Geneva Updike Mutter. Aubrey was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and served his country during World War II. He was a System Operations Manager working in Navy Housing until he retired. Also he was an avid dancer, croquet player and checker player.

Aubrey is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Vivien and Pete Dutton of OR and Betty and Ted Spivey of Norfolk, VA; his sons and daughter-in-law, David and Davida Mutter of Williamsburg, VA and Curtis Mutter of WI; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Services will be private with burial at Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to the Employee Fund @The Ballentine Assisted Living, 7211 Granby Street, Norfolk, VA 23505.
