Aubrey Earl Marks, 74, passed away November 17, 2011. He was born in Suffolk, VA the son of the late Lillian Lee Marks. He retired as a National Coordinator from the National Council on Aging. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Aubrey is survived by his daughter, Deborah Marks Breneman and husband, Michael of Newburgh, IN; sons, John David Marks of Salisbury, NC, Karl Wayne Marks and wife, Amber of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Jason M. Breneman (Anne), Aubrey A. Dorsch (Tim), Ashley E. Breneman, Joshua D. Breneman, John C. Breneman (Margaret), Haley N. Marks, Reece M. Marks, Christian T. Marks; 9 great grandchildren; and numerous cousins.

A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434 with Rev. Ray Hampton officiating. Burial will be at Holly Lawn Cemetery on a later date. A time of visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
