Arvil Stacy, 81, passed away December 14, 2015. He was born November 14, 1934 in Glenn Alum, WV to the late Joe Stacy and Florence Brown Ferguson. He attended Suffolk Church of Christ and held the position of Elder since the 1970's. He retired from Smithfield Packing Co. as a mechanic.

Arvil was predeceased by his wife of 39 years, Dimple Daisy Simpkins Stacy, and all of his siblings. He is survived by his daughter, Diane S. & Gary L. Ellis, Sr.; sons, Timothy "Tim" J. & Debbie Stacy, A. Keith & Darlene C. Stacy; grandchildren, Gary L. Ellis, Jr., Justin D. & Stacie Ellis, Aaron K. Stacy, Sarah M. & Jared Featherstone; great grandchildren, Rowan, Harper, Cheyenne, and another on the way.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 11 am at Suffolk Church of Christ with Jason Sadler officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
