Arthur "Tootie" Stanley Babb, 81, of Suffolk, VA, passed away October 5, 2012. He was born in Nansemond County, VA to the late Lycurgus and Martha Harris Babb. He is also predeceased by his wife of 36 years, Betty Jean Rountree Babb, sisters, Helen. B. Green and Martha B. Wroten. Tootie was a member of Suffolk Moose Lodge #141. He enjoyed dancing and being around people.

Tootie is survived by his sister, Jean Babb Simpkins; brothers and sister-in-law, Frank E. "Bud" Babb, Sr., John E. Babb (Linda), and Ralph O. Babb (Barbara).

A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, October 8, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Holland Cemetery, Suffolk, VA with Rev. Raymond Hampton officiating.
