Arthur Leroy Polson, 75, of Suffolk, passed peacefully in his home on September 29, 2010. Leroy is the son of the late Arthur and Pearl Polson of Corapeake, NC and is predeceased by his son Alan Polson.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Shirley Polson, daughter and son-in-law, Pam and David Kinard of Gates, NC, daughter-in-law, Beth Polson of Aulander, NC, grandchildren, Tara and Cody Kinard, Kelsi, Kierstyn, and Brandyn Polson, great grandson, Wyatt Kinard, and sister, Beth Polson of Pasadena, CA.

A graveside service will be held Saturday October 2, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Holly Lawn Cemetery officiated by Keith Atkinson. Friends may join the family Friday, October 1, 2010, from 8 to 9 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA and other times at the residence.
