Arie P. Wilkins, 97, passed away October 1, 2013. She was born in Southampton County, VA the daughter of the late Herman and Mattie Porter. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Wilkins. She was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church and the Ladies Star Class. She was also a member of the Fellowship Club of Bethlehem and the Barrett Circle.

Arie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Alice W. and Richard E. Forrester, Sr.; sons and daughters-in-law, James W. and Liza Wilkins, C. Jeter and Ann M. Wilkins; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren and one more on the way; and sister, Lydia P. Griggs.

A graveside service, per her wishes, will be held Friday, October 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Holly Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Matt Winters officiating. Friends may join the family following the service at Bethlehem Christian Church for further time of fellowship and other times at the residence of Alice Forrester.
