Anthony Fijalkowski, 68, of Suffolk, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2007. He was born in Burlington, New Jersey the son of the late Sophia Kovalesky and Stanley Anthony Fijalkowski, Sr. and was also predeceased by a brother Stanley Fijalkowski. Anthony was a Veteran of the United States Army who retired as a Master Sergeant with 24 years of service. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam and was awarded one of our country's highest honors, the Purple Heart. Upon retirement he worked as a Manager at Trump Plaza in Atlantic City before moving to Virginia, where he was an A.B.C. Manager.

He is survived by his children: Norman Fijalkowski, Jeannette Fijalkowski, Anthony Fijalkowski, Jr. and his wife Kelly, Jocelyn Fijalkowski and her companion Kevin Mondorff, Jennifer Fijalkowski; his grandchildren, Ashley, Amber, Autum, Katie, and Nicholas Fijalkowski and Kyle Collett; his brothers, Richard, Chester, Walter and Joey Fijalkowski and his beloved cat "Skins."

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at 3:00 p.m. at Fort Monroe on the Beach.Burial will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Burlington, New Jersey.Parr Funeral Home is serving the family. Condolences may be registered at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
