Ansell "Detroit" Howard Housand, 70, passed away on June 7, 2015 after a long struggle with cancer surrounded by his beloved wife and family. He was born in Horry County, South Carolina the son of the late Herbert Willard Housand and Pinnie Long Housand Martin. He was predeceased by his stepfather, Kenneth Cecil Martin, Sr.; a sister; and three brothers. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Casa Virginia Penney Housand; daughters, Barbara Lynn Housand Brown (Charles), Angela Gail Housand Miraglia (Richard), and Stacy Amanda Housand Aldrich (Daniel); son, Matthew Howard Housand (Jessi); 10 grandchildren; brothers, Levern Wayne Housand and Kenneth Cecil Martin, Jr.
