It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Mother, Ann Lambert (83) on April 9, 2025. Ann passed away at SNGH hospital ICU. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Annegret Elsie Olga Buhr Lambert was born May 1, 1941 to August Otto Buhr and Anna Auguste Lina Bornheber Buhr in Sülze Celle, Germany.  Ann is preceded in death by her mother, father and her 4 brothers, Otto, Gerhardt, Helmut and Arnold.

Left to honor her memory is her daughter  Corinna Lambert Lindell (Kip), son Charlie Lambert, sister Bärbel Seelbinder, grandsons Christopher Lambert, Chase Lindell (Makayla) and Matthew Bell. Great grandchild, Kaydence Bell. Extended family Patrick Monahan (Judy), Tracy Story Brooks, her loving caregiver Jeanne Jernee, Rick Cross (Vicky) and Brian Abrams.

Her most rewarding job was providing a loving home, raising her 2 children, being a grandmother and helping to raise her grandson, Christopher.  Ann was a retired Peanut inspector for the Department of Agriculture, Suffolk, Va.  She enjoyed cooking for her family, fishing, crabbing, playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory at 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, Va. 23434 with Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00pm-2:00pm. Burial will follow in Windsor Cemetery.
