Anne Schular Potter, 79, of Suffolk, VA passed away May 18, 2017. She was born in Peru, IL to the late Archibald Deane Schular and Ethel Brock Cardwell. She was also predeceased by her brother, Robert Schular. She retired as a teacher from the Chesapeake School system. She was a member of Suffolk Christian Church where she served as the vice chairman of the Care and Concern Committee, and was a member of the Ladies Circle.

Anne is survived by a daughter; a son, William Frederick "Fred" Potter; grandchildren, Brock Chavis, Samantha Frazier, and Tabitha Potter; and God children, William Leggett and Anne Leggett.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Suffolk Christian Church with Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating.
