Annabelle Lee Adams, 11, went to be with her Lord on February 14, 2024. She was born in Norfolk, VA to Tiffany Lee McGill Adams and Robert Matthew Adams. She is predeceased by her aunt, Shannon Adams.

Annabelle was full of life and a fierce fighter from day one. She never let the difficulties of her rare physical condition keep her from accomplishing anything she put her mind to, and defied expectations multiple times. "Can't" was not part of her vocabulary. Her smile lit up a room and she had the most infectious laughter. To know Annabelle was to love her.

Annabelle is survived by her loving parents; brothers, Joshua Brian Adams, and Joseph James Adams; grandparents, Gwenna and Thomas S. McGill Jr, and Brenda and Robert G. Adams; uncles and aunts, Thomas Sean McGill and Adrianna McGill; Kristen and Jesse Tupea; and Kasey and Mariko Preston.

We would like to recognize Annabelle's nurses Sakeena Ameen-White,  Patricia Quackenbush, and Joann Waldroff for the loving care and amazing memories they gave to Annabelle.

We would also like to thank the staff of Edmarc (Hospice for Children) and Dr. Ami Mehta for the compassionate care they provided to Annabelle and our family during her final days.

Annabelle's funeral service will be 2:30p, Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Mission Church Norfolk with Pastor Jon Coats officiating. Visitation will be 6-8:00p, Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at the church. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Edmarc Hospice for Children.
