Anna Holland Lewis, 78, passed away on October 7, 2021.  She was born in Nansemond County to the late Willard S. Holland, Sr. and Erma White Holland.  She was predeceased by her sister, Bobbie H. Griggs.  Anna retired from Lakeview Medical Center after thirty years of service as a Human Resources Specialist.

Anna is survived by her husband of 58 years, Thomas E. Lewis; daughter, Janet L. Jasewicz (Michael); sister, Betty H. Mazie (Michael); brother, Willard S. Holland, Jr.; and granddaughter, Megan E. Jasewicz, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Anna enjoyed being a homemaker, mother, wife, grandmother, sister and taking care of her family.  She spent time with friends each week having lunch with the "Thursday Lunch Group". Close friends and family meant a lot to Anna.  Her motto was to be loving and caring, not selfish.  We all need salvation.  Try to stay on the right track when things aren't going well.  Always lean on God.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Wayne Gardner officiating.  Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery.  Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Monday night from 5 – 6 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.  The family asks that people wear masks because they can save lives.
