Ann Curnes Foster, 70, of Suffolk, VA passed away October 5, 2011. She was born in Oscella, Iowa the daughter of the late Vondeen "Bonnie" Elizabeth Brand Curnes and Audrey "Pappy" Wilson Curnes. Ann was also predeceased by her brothers, Audrey K. and Jerry R. Curnes. She retired after working for over 40 years as the Co-Manager for Fresh Pride (BELO).

Ann is survived by her sons, John Thomas Vann of Corapeake, NC; Jody Browning Foster and fiancé, Kristen of Suffolk; grandchildren, Melissa Ann Vann and Emily Rachel Foster; sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia C. and Roger Leavister, Cleva C. and Lloyd Carr, Dixie C. and Thomas Frederick; and 3 nephews.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Tommy Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery.
