Ann Wilkins Bunch, 76, of Suffolk, VA passed away on January 6, 2010. A native of Portsmouth, VA she was the daughter of the late Ervin Clyde Wilkins and Emma Virginia Holland Wilkins. She was also predeceased by her husband, Stanley Carlton Bunch. She retired from the Suffolk Public Schools as a Special Education Teacher where she worked in the field of special education since 1972. Ann was a Consultant for Western Tidewater Community Service Board, a life member of Suffolk Retired Teachers, National Education Association and the Windsor Lion's Club as an associate member. She was a member of Suffolk Christian Church.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Karl W. Bunch and Eric L. and Priscilla Bunch, all of Suffolk; two grandchildren, Jennifer B. Miller and husband Steven and Tyler D. Bunch; one great grandchild, Kaleb Ross Miller, and a special nephew, John Johnson and his family.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Suffolk Christian Church, with Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family for visitation on Friday evening from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk and other times at the home of Eric and Priscilla Bunch.
