Angela Powell White, 39, of Suffolk, VA passed away on October 17, 2008. A native of Suffolk, VA she was the daughter of the late William Bryant Powell. Angela was a homemaker and a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church.

She is survived by her fiancé, Jack L. Simpson, Jr.; mother, Sylvia Carr; her daughter, Jennifer Leigh White of Suffolk; her sons, Jeffrey Todd White of Smithfield and Justin Wayne White of Suffolk; stepchildren, Samuel Simpson, Casandra White and Jacqulyn White of Suffolk; sisters, Darlene B. Hubbard of Suffolk and Angel Powell of Smithfield; brother, William H. Bradshaw, III of Portsmouth; paternal grandfather, James S. Carr of Suffolk; and an aunt and uncle, Elwood and Tina Powell.

A Graveside Service will be held, October 22, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Newman Cemetery, behind Oakland Christian Church in Chuckatuck, with the Rev. Tom Potter officiating. Friends may join the family on Tuesday evening from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA.
