Amelia Brinkley Hedgepeth Babb,69, of Suffolk,Virginia
passed away July 4, 2006. She was born in Suffolk, VA and was a homemaker. Amelia was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness. She was the daughter of the late, Virginia E. B. and James W. Brinkley. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Wilton A. Hedgepeth, her son, Raby Lynn Hedgepeth, and her sister, Rosamond B. Butler.

Amelia is survived by her husband, George Kenneth Babb of Suffolk, VA; daughters and sons-in-law, Amy H. and Ronnie Vick of Suffolk, VA, and Melissa H. and Jimmy Howell of Windsor, VA; sons and daughter-in-law, Glenn Allen and Phyllis W. Hedgepeth, and Barry Keith Hedgepeth all of Suffolk, VA; 10 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; brothers, W. Timothy, J. Oliver, and Challis T. Brinkley all of Suffolk, VA.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 7, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home with Rev. William R. Hall officating. Entombment will be in the Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Friends may join the family Thursday night from 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
