Alvin Ralph Taroli, 68, of Suffolk, VA passed away April 14, 2011. He was born in Pennsylvania the son of the late Adeline Bosko Taroli and Bruno Taroli. He was also predeceased by his grandparents, Enrico and Elizabeth Taroli; daughter, Jeannie Conyers; son, Alvin R. "Butch" Taroli, Jr.; granddaughter, Heather Perry; and brother, Enrico Taroli. Alvin was United States Air Force veteran. He worked as the former manager for Drug Fair and for Revco and after retirement worked as a courier in medical transport.

Alvin is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Sean Myers of Suffolk; grandchildren, Amanda Moegenberg and her husband, Matt, Erin M. Conyers, Tony, Brooke, Staci, Sydney, and Lindsey Taroli; great grandchildren, Travis and Joseph Moegenberg; brothers, Ronald Taroli of Scranton, PA, Fred Taroli of Lake Ariel, PA, and Barry Taroli of Scranton, PA.

A funeral service will be held Monday, April 18, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA with Pastor Greg Kitts officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the residence of Amanda and Matt Moegenberg.
