Allie Sue (Hatton) Spring, 80, went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2021, peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Greenville, NC to the late Iris Vincent and Edgar R. Hatton Sr. She is predeceased by her brother, Ed Hatton Jr.  Sue was raised in Norfolk and attended Maury High School; moved to the Western Branch area of Chesapeake, where she raised her five children, and later settled in Suffolk. She was a passionate and active member of Main Street United Methodist Church in Suffolk. Her involvement included, "Helping Hands", United Methodist Women, and Meals on Wheels. She believed her greatest accomplishment was being a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Sue was a self taught seamstress and an avid cook, baker, and gardener. She was a friend and mother to many and those who met her loved her.
