Albert "Bert" William Dodd, Jr., 82, passed away July 26, 2025.  He was born in Portsmouth, VA the son of the late Albert William Dodd, Sr. and Fern Ragland Dodd.  He was predeceased by his son, Sean William Dodd.  Bert retired as a real estate broker.  He was a member of Living Waters.

Bert is survived by his former wife, Dorothy Leigh Steele Dodd Hubbard; daughter, Karen Renee Dodd; daughter-in-law, Rebecca Lee Dodd Rosekrans; grandchildren, Taylor Dodd, Tyler Dodd, and Christian Dodd; great grandchildren, Navaeh Sherrod, Giovanni Mitchell, and Elliana Ervin; nephew, Wayne Smith; nieces, Sharon Kopacki (Josh) and Chrissy Andrade (Donny).

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, August 10, 2025 at 3 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Daniel Campbell officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
