These prices are effective as of May 1, 2012 and are subject to change without notice. The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the goods and services you selected.
Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff	$1,530.00
Our services include: conducting the arrangements conference; planning the funeral; consulting with family and clergy; shelter of remains; preparing and filing of necessary notices; obtaining the necessary authorizations and permits; coordinating with the cemetery, crematory, or other third parties. In addition, this fee includes a proportionate share of our basic overhead costs. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.)
Embalming	$500.00
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Direct Cremation
Direct Cremation	$2,450.00
Our charges for a direct cremation (without embalming, facilites for viewing, or ceremony) include: local transfer of remains to funeral home, basic services of funeral director and staff, use of the crematory, Virginia Medical Examiner Fee and facilities for other preparation. We offer arrangements for direct cremation services. State and local laws do not require a casket for direct cremation. If you want to arrange a direct cremation you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering.) The container we provide is a cardboard cremation tray. This is described on the Casket Price List.
Immediate Burial
Immediate Burial	$2,200.00
Our charges for an immediate burial (without embalming, facilities for viewing, or ceremony) include: local transfer of remains to funeral home, local transportation to cemetery, basic services of funeral director and staff, and facilities for other preparation. State and local laws do not require a casket for immediate burial. If you desire to arrange for this type disposal, you can use any type casket you desire or you may use an alternative container such as an unfinished wood box. These are described on the casket price list. Of course, local cemetery regulations concerning outer burial containers are applicable to immediate burial arrangements.
Forwarding of Remains to another Funeral Home	$2,645.00
Our charges include local transfer of remains to funeral funeral home, arranging for notices, consents, permits, and certificates, embalming, local transfer of remains to airport, and shipping container. (A complete price list will be provided at our funeral home.)
Receiving of Remains from another Funeral Home	$3,320.00
Our charges include minimum services of funeral director and staff, local transfer of remains to funeral home, facilities and staff for visitation and viewing, funeral coach to transfer remains to cemetery, use of flower car to cemetery.
